Hello,

My name is Chase. I am 14 yrs old and in eighth grade. I have lived in Iowa, USA for eleven years. I enjoy doing sports, reading, hanging out with friends, and school is pretty good too. My favorite subject in school is History . I spend my free time doing video games or playing sports. I have one dog. She is six months old and her name is Molly. She is very hyper.I travel about three times a year to Nebraska to visit my family. When I grow up I want to be a professional football player. Not the round kind of football. The egg type shaped ball. Do you have any pets?

Hey Chase! I have a friend who lives up in Iowa as well. He lives in Cedar Falls. I bet it still really cold up there! I live in Alabama right by the Gulf. What kind of dog do you have? I have a Morkie which is a Maltese/Yorkie and she’s only 7 months old. I also have a Westie. The dog that’s on the caeser commercials and his name is Herbie. We named him after the Husker’s mascot! Good luck on becoming a professional football player!

Hi I am a fourth grade student in Bellevue, Nebraska. Did you know that the Henry Doorly Zoo has the biggest desert dome and indoor rainforest in the world. Also we don’t have any major sports but in Omaha, Nebraska they host the college World Series. We have a under water lake that is huge wich is called the ogallala Aquifer. The animals that live here are the Sandhill cranes, turkeys, deer, western meadow lark, and buffalo. Of course those animals are all wild and I could name a ton of domesticated animals like the dog or cat. Did you know that we invented Arbor Day in Nebraska. Now that you know about Nebraska why don’t you tell me about where you live?

Hey Luke! I actually have family that lives in Grand Island. Is that close to you? My dad is also a huge fan of the Huskers. I didn’t know that Arbor Day started in Nebraska! That is really cool. I live in Spanish Fort, Alabama. I only live about 30 minutes or so from the Gulf of Mexico. I don’t really know any cool facts about Alabama because I’ve only lived here a few years. The main thing we are known for is football. I’m sure you heard of the University of Alabama and Auburn! I loved reading your post. Keep up the great work!

My two week Easter Holidays

Hi guys we’ve been doing some writing about my two week break.

We had to write It down on a A3 piece of paper, so just to share here is my work.

MY HOLIDAYS
Easter
At the start of Easter I was amazed at how many Easter eggs

were on the floor even in cupboards, me my brother and my mum decided to have
a Easter egg hunt. I found a lot of eggs, I found the mother load of eggs in the garage.

Shopping

When I woke up I realized there hardly any food at all so I told mum if we could
Shopping we went to the long way to the shop because the short way had traffic
We had to get a lot of things like pet food.

I am focusing on putting more punctuation in my writing.

Hey Kyle! That’s great you had an awesome Easter! My Easter we went to church and me and my family went out to lunch on the beach. I had a wonderful holiday because I got to spend it with my family. I also think it’s great you are trying to work on your punctuation. Keep up the good work!
